OPINION PARAGRAPH: UNIVERSITY ISLAMIC AS- SYAFIYAH
As-syafiyah islamic university (UIA) is a private university in Indonesia which was founded in 1984, UIA integrates science and religion in its learning process,University As-Syafi'iyah (UIA) was established in 1985 by the As-Syafi'iyah Islamic Education Foundation to provide higher education based on Islam and the Syafi'i school of thought. The university offers various study programs and emphasizes the integration of Islamic values into its curriculum and campus life. Since its founding, UIA has played a vital role in educating students with a strong understanding of Islamic teachings and the relevance of modern knowledge.
University Islamic Assyafi'iyah was built on November 14,1965 (at the time of the Islamic Education Academy). The increase from AKPI to University occurred on March 12, 1969 with the founder named K.H Abdullah Syafi'i.
There are two campuses for learning activities, most of the lecture activities are on campus one and on campus two only the economics and business faculty building, the location of this university is in Bekasi City, precisely in Jatiwaringin, Pondok Gede.
Did you know that there are many universities both state and private in Indonesia? The locations of these private universities vary widely, some are easily accessible and some are not. In my opinion, these private universities are very affordable and can be accessed on foot.
With six faculties and sixteen-degree programs, Syafi'iyah Islamic University comprises the following :
1. Faculty of Islamic Religion
Islamic Religious Education (S1)
Islamic Broadcasting Communication (S1)
Sharia Banking (S1)
2. Faculty of Law
Law Science (S1)
3. Faculty of Economics and Business
4. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education
Guidance and Counseling Education (S1)
English Education (S1)
Master of Education Technology (S2)
5. Faculty of Health Sciences
Health Science (S1 and D3)
Nursing Profession.
6. Faculty of Science and Technology
Mechanical Engineering (S1)
Informatics Engineering (S1)
Industrial Engineering (S1)
Mathematics (S1)
Biology (S1)
My opinion Why is it that the As-Syafiiyah Islamic University has not progressed compared to other universities?
1. Limited Resources:
*Funding: As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University is a private university, the funds available may be limited compared to state universities that receive subsidies from the government. This can result in limited infrastructure, facilities, and study programs offered.
*Teaching Staff: The availability of qualified and experienced lecturers can also be a determining factor in the progress of the university.
2. Lack of Publication and Promotion:
*As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University may not have carried out intensive promotions to attract prospective students. This can make the university less well-known compared to other universities.
* The lack of research publications and scientific works by lecturers and students can also make the university less well-known to the public and academic world.
3. Management and Leadership:
*The management and leadership system at As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University is not yet optimal in driving the university's progress.
*The lack of transparency and accountability in university management can also make stakeholders unsure of the university's direction and goals.
4. External Factors:
*Tight competition between universities, both state and private, can also be a factor inhibiting the progress of As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University.
*Social, economic, and political conditions in Indonesia can also influence the development of universities.
In addition to not dampening the intention of Friends to be able to continue to private tertiary education, at As-Syafiiyah Islamic University you can register with various entry routes such as independent routes, achievement routes, scholarship routes, Al-Quran memorization routes and so on that have collaborated with this campus institution [SF].
