Here's a simple recipe for Sago Mango:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of sago pearls
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 500 ml of water
  • 200 ml of evaporated milk
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
Instructions:

  1. Boil the water in a pot. Once boiling, add the sago pearls and cook them until they turn transparent. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  2. Once the sago pearls are cooked, drain them and rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch. Set aside.
  3. In a separate pot, combine the evaporated milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is slightly thickened.
  4. Allow the evaporated milk mixture to cool slightly, then add the cooked sago pearls and diced mangoes. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Transfer the Sago Mango mixture into serving bowls or glasses.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
  7. Optionally, you can garnish with additional diced mangoes or a drizzle of evaporated milk before serving.
Enjoy your creamy Sago Mango dessert with evaporated milk! [LN]
